Project Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Norwest team. This fantastic role will suit someone looking to work on various projects in a friendly and supportive team with a growing market leader. Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of our client's projects and commercial drivers and work with the client to plan out the best way to have the project approved and delivered
- Establishing a project management plan for the project, inclusive of a delivery program, a project budget, a risk register, and other project management essentials
- Manage day to day project activities and ensuring that timeframes, deliverables, and information are communicated to the team, it also involves cultivating a positive and problem-solving mindset among the project team for the benefit contribute to project meetings to ensure that the team and client are aligned as to the project status, deadlines, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Contribute to technical workshops where required, as might be the case when close collaboration between different disciplines is required
- Engaging with authorities and agencies and fostering collaborative relationships between the project team and all external stakeholders. Coordination of internal and external resources on projects
- Use your resourcefulness, creativity, and expertise to solve problems, drive outcomes, and ensure that the project is on the most appropriate trajectory
- Contribute to the strength of the project management team by sharing your knowledge, insights, ideas, and industry intel, ensuring that the team remains highly respected within the industry.
Skills and Expertise
- 4+ years’ experience in the land development sector
- Preference for a bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, planning or other related disciplines
- Strong technical and commercial acumen
- Excellent understanding of project management principles, methods and techniques
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
