We have an exciting opportunity for a Sydney Water accredited Engineer/ Water Servicing Coordinator to join our Wollongong Water Services Team. The accreditation should be C1, however graduates interested in working in the water supply and wastewater space are welcome to apply. This fantastic role will suit someone looking to work on various projects in a friendly and supportive team while growing their career with a market leader. Our Wollongong Office is located in the CBD in a modern and secure building, close to the Crown Shopping District and a short walk from the picturesque South Wollongong Beach.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure work output meets high technical standards, aligns with project requirements, and is delivered within agreed timeframes and budgets
  • Support the delivery of small to medium-sized projects, including the preparation of proposals, agreements, and related documentation
  • Conduct research and data analysis for projects, preparing and presenting findings to inform evidence-based decisions and support planning processes
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and project partners
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of technical reports, engineering drawings, and tender documentation
  • Developing practical solutions to project challenges
  • Understand quality control processes and ensure they are implemented and documented for each project
  • Adhere to quality, safety, and environmental standards across the assigned work area
  • Conduct site inspections, attend on-site meetings, and oversee site works to ensure compliance and progress

Skills and Expertise

  • Recently completed a Bachelor of Civil or Environmental Engineering (or being in the process of completing that course)
  • 1 Years Undergraduate Experience (not a must have)
  • Ideally Accreditation with Sydney Water as a competent C1 Designer
  • Experience using MS Office suite, Auto CAD
  • 12D experience welcomed
  • Good communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Strong prioritisation and coordination skills
  • Ability to work well both autonomously and within teams
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
