The Orion Group are delighted to announce the successful completion of their full acquisition of KFW Infrastructure Professionals (KFW). This move is part of Orion’s growth strategy and will see both businesses operate as one, bringing with it exceptional value to their collective clients.
Orion acquired a majority stake in KFW in December 2020 and has now finalised the full acquisition to merge the two companies. All staff from both businesses will be retained and become part of the Orion Group team.
The acquisition comes at a pivotal time for the Orion Group and coincides with a rebranding to emphasise expanding horizons. The rebrand is recognition of the evolution of Orion over the past eight years since its inception.
Orion intends to expand horizons organically and through acquisition to scale service offerings nation-wide, continue to build deep expertise and capitalise on a reputation for high-quality service. The KFW acquisition further strengthens Orion’s capacity for holistic solutions for clients. Expanding horizons in the Orion team creates opportunity and a workplace culture of technical excellence to go beyond standard industry practice and create market-leading outcomes.
Philip Byrum, Managing Director of the Orion Group, said:
“We are thrilled to have completed the acquisition of KFW. This acquisition creates a unique opportunity for us to join forces and provide our customers with world class engineering services. The integration of KFW since 2020 has been very successful and we look forward to seeing the future of the Orion Group unfold.”
Peter Harding, General Manager of KFW, added:
“We are delighted to be part of the Orion Group. We have already seen exciting possibilities for our team and opportunities for even better services to our clients.”
The Orion Group is committed to best-practice outcomes and will continue to invest in expanding the horizons of its team and clients.
